Led by Khenpo Tseten Dorje of Shechen Monastery after Kyabje Chime Rinpoche’s passing.
We continue to focus on prayers and meditation following Rinpoche’s Parinirvana. We are very pleased to inform you that Khenpo Tseten will be returning to Marpa House to lead some prayers and practices for us.
One of the practices he will be leading is the Narak Kong Shak practice. This is said to be particularly effective in repairing samaya and broken vows, and is often done to support the sangha following a great teacher’s passing. We will also do the Khenpo Gangshar Guru Yoga practice, which was very close to Rinpoche’s heart.
Attendance is by donation only. These are to help cover the costs of printing texts, facilitating the sessions and hosting Khenpo Tseten’s visit. You are very welcome to join by Zoom (Wednesday PM only) or in person (both days).
Please book your place using the button links on this page. Texts will be made available.

Khenpo Tseten
Khenpo Tseten was born in Thimpu Bhutan in 1974.
In the early 90s, Khenpo-la joined Shechen monastery in Nepal. In 2000, he brilliantly completed his studies at the monastery’s shedra (monastic college). Kyabje Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche later entrusted him with the responsibility for the same shedra, which he held for three years. In 2006, Rabjam Rinpoche asked him to run a centre in France, and during a visit to Shechen in 2009, he was enthroned as Khenpo (Master of studies and of monastic discipline).
Khenpo-la has many years of teaching and guiding Westerners. He teaches fluently in English and travels frequently to teach and lead retreats in Belgium and Portugal. He also regularly taught at Kyabje Chime Rinpoche’s annual summer school in France and here at Marpa House.
