Prayers and Practices with Khenpo Tseten (23.4.26)

Thursday 23rd April at 10:30 am – 12:30 pm & 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm. By donation (Suggested donation: £8 for the day). In person at Marpa House in the shrine room.

We continue to focus on prayers and meditation following Rinpoche’s Parinirvana. We are very pleased to inform you that Khenpo Tseten Dorje of Shechen Monastery will be returning to Marpa House to lead some prayers and practices for us.
One of the practices he’ll be leading is the Narak Kong Shak practice, said to be particularly effective in repairing samaya and broken vows, and is often done to support the sangha following a great teacher’s passing. He will also lead us in the Khenpo Gangshar Guru Yoga practice, which was very close to Rinpoche’s heart.
Attendance is by donation only. This is to help cover the costs of printing texts, facilitating the sessions and hosting Khenpo Tseten’s visit.) Book your place here.
No accommodation or meals are available at the House. A list of local places to stay is available here. Tea and coffee will be available at the House. You are very welcome to bring your own vegetarian snacks.
Because of these sessions, our regular daily practice sessions will now be at 7.30 pm on 23 April, followed by a short Chenrezik practice session.
These sessions will take place in the shrine room and are likely to be very busy, so please book ahead. You can also book for just the afternoon session online via Zoom. Details are available here.
There is no parking at Marpa House due to the road closure of Rectory Lane. However, parking is available at All Saints Church in the village. Car sharing is advised if possible. Local taxi firms are listed here.
