Meditation Sunday – These sessions are suitable for meditators of all levels, featuring guided meditation by experienced sangha members and are offered free of charge. We hope you can join us. You are welcome to attend all or any of the sessions. This day is suitable for beginners as well as for anyone wishing to refresh the basics of Shi-ne (Shamatha) meditation. Each session will be gentle and calm, with short breaks. Shi-ne or Shamatha practices create the stable and supple mind necessary to work with other meditation techniques. We will practice writing the seed syllable of Chenrezik, and then see how it can be used in Shi-ne meditation. The afternoon session will start a bit earlier than usual, at 2:00 pm. Brian has been a student of Kyabje Chime Rinpoche for many years, since he first met him in 1986.
