‘One Sky, One Mind’

Join us at Marpa House on 26th – 27th September 2026

Rinpoche himself said that when we are all together, he will be with us too. With this in mind, we sincerely hope you can join us at Marpa House for a very special weekend and a meaningful opportunity for us all to be together to remember and celebrate the life of our precious teacher, Kyabje Chime Rinpoche.

We are deeply honoured that Khenpo Gyurme Tsultrim Rinpoche of Shechen Monastery will be assisting us with the event.

The event is free of charge, but you must book your place in advance so we can plan accordingly and safely accommodate everyone. There will be some sponsorship opportunities for the event; details will follow soon.

Please note that this event is in-person only and will not be shown on Zoom. However, we will be filming the weekend and will produce an edited version, which we will share later in the year.

Please book using the buttons below.

Saturday 26th September

From 2:00 pm – 6:30 pm approx.

Programme of talks, prayers and practice, film, and excerpts from Rinpoche’s teachings, as we reflect on his whole life.

From 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm approx.

An evening session including a Tibetan meal, a short Chenrezik puja, followed by music.

Sunday 27th September

From 10:00 am – 2:00 pm approx.

Informal practice and prayer sessions, screening of teachings by Kyabje Chime Rinpoche.

We will also share a light vegetarian lunch, provided by Marpa House.

This will provide a lovely opportunity for people to catch up with each other.

“Entrusting ourselves to the hands of a Lama, we’re completely relying on one whose competence, both in the scriptures and practice, expands like the moon, growing full and complete.”

Join us for Saga Dawa on 31st May

Join us for Saga Dawa on 31st May

Saga Dawa Düchen falls on Sunday 31st May this year. Join us for the day at Marpa House

It is one of the most sacred days in the Tibetan Buddhist calendar, marking the full moon (the 15th day) of the fourth Tibetan lunar month, celebrating the Buddha’s enlightenment at the age of 35 in Bodhgaya, and the anniversary of his parinirvana at Kushinagara.

It is said that the karmic results of our actions on this day are multiplied many millions of times, offering the opportunity to develop tremendous merit and benefit countless beings.

We will be marking the day here by having a Sang offering, raising a new banner for our prayer flags, and practicing ‘Calling the Lama from Afar’.
