Teachings & Empowerments with Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche – 26th October
We are utterly delighted, and incredibly honoured, that Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche has very kindly accepted our invitation to give teachings and empowerments at Marpa House.
PROGRAMME
Sunday 26th October
9:30 am – 11:00 am
Teachings from ‘The Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones’ Part Two
The ‘Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones’ is Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche’s commentary on Patrul Rinpoche’s teachings on path, meditation and view. This commentary is a beautiful, clear, complete guide, and we are delighted that Rinpoche will be sharing this profound teaching with us.
11:15 am – 1:45 pm
Konchok Chidu empowerment
’The Universal Embodiment of the Precious Ones’: this empowerment is for an important ‘three roots’ practice of Guru Rinpoche, thereby accumulating blessings, activity and accomplishments.
The programme is very full. Timings may vary, and we cannot guarantee start/finish times. Please arrive promptly and be patient with timings – thank you for your understanding.
This is an incredible opportunity to receive transmissions from such a realised and authentic master. Rabjam Rinpoche is a highly revered international teacher. He has an especially close connection to Marpa House and is a much-loved, warm, generous presence for us all.
We hope that you can join us for this wonderful occasion.
Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche, born in 1967, is the grandson and spiritual heir of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Since his grandfather’s passing in 1991, Rabjam Rinpoche has taken the responsibility of transmitting Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche’s teachings and is bringing his vision for the preservation of Tibetan Buddhist teaching and culture to fruition.
At the age of three, Rabjam Rinpoche began taking teachings from his revered grandfather and today holds this unbroken lineage. He was raised by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche and attended almost every teaching, drupchen and empowerment that he gave during twenty-five years. He travelled throughout the world with Khyentse Rinpoche and first visited the West in 1976.
