Kyabjé Chime Rinpoche’s 86th Birthday celebrations at Marpa House

It’s our indescribably precious teacher, Kyabjé Chime Rinpoche’s birthday! Although Rinpoche himself is still in retreat, we would love to invite you to share his birthday with us.

Saturday 11th October
Free of charge
2:30 pm: Offering of Khataks & ‘Calling the Lama From Afar’  (via Zoom and in-person).
Approx 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm: Tea party/bonfire & watching a teaching of Rinpoche’s together (in-person only)

We are delighted to invite you to share our precious teacher’s 86th birthday celebrations with us.  We will mark his birthday together as a sangha, and we very much hope you can join us.

We will be reciting ‘Calling the Lama from Afar’ and offering khataks. We also watch a video of celebrating Rinpoche’s together, hopefully a teaching.

This event is offered free of charge; however, donations are very welcome.
