‘One Sky, One Mind’ – Kyabje Chime Rinpoche Memorial
Rinpoche himself said that when we are all together, he will be with us too. With this in mind, we are delighted that we will be together at Marpa House for a very special weekend and a meaningful opportunity to remember and celebrate the life of our precious teacher, Kyabje Chime Rinpoche.
Please book your place in advance, as we anticipate the event will be full. The event is free of charge. Please note that this event is in-person only and will not be shown on Zoom. However, we will be filming the weekend and will produce an edited version, which we will share later in the year.
If you have any questions, please contact us at mail@marpahouse.org.uk or call the secretary on +44 (0) 1799 584 415, and we will do our best to assist you.
However, this guide answers the most common questions for those attending, including parking instructions, information on road closures, the programme for both days (subject to change), accommodation options, catering, and general guidelines for each day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
DISRUPTION DUE TO ROAD CLOSURES
Church Hill in Ashdon will be closed for the whole of September, so it is likely that the junction from Radwinter Road to Rectory Lane will be busy. This is due to road closures for waterworks in the area.
Please leave extra time for your journey as access from Saffron Walden to Ashdon is only available via Radwinter. Please allow an additional 15 minutes if you are coming from this direction.
Access to Ashdon from Bartlow is open as normal.
TAXI INFORMATION
Taxis and cars will have access to the House to drop off attendees. Please turn around in the House drive rather than further up the lane; this will minimise disruption to our neighbours.
